We are glad you have an interest in becoming a member of Placerita Bible Church.
Classes are held twice per year: in the spring and in the fall. Below is an explanation of the process of becoming a member.

Membership Class
January 28, February 4, 11, 18 | 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM | Modular Building
Baptism Class
February 25, March 3 | 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM | Fireside Room
Right Hand of Fellowship (RHOF) & Baptism Service
March 17 | 6:00 PM
Those who finish the membership process will be welcomed as members at the RHOF service.
PROCESS
STEP 1. Register to attend the Membership Class
REGISTER HERE TO ATTEND THE CLASS
STEP 2. Fill out the Membership Application
You can do this step after registering for the class, but it must be completed by February 4.
Before you fill out the Membership Application, you must read the PBC Bylaws and the PBC Doctrinal Statement. At the end of the application you will be asked to check boxes pertaining to these documents. The application will take approximately 30-60 minutes to complete (not including reading the Bylaws and Doctrinal Statement).
We suggest you use a computer for filling out the application. It may not go through if using a cell phone or iPad.
STEP 3. Attend the 4 Membership Classes
There is required reading for this class, and we will provide you with the book at no cost. You will receive an email on how to receive the book after you register for the class.
Note: even though you complete the paperwork and attend the classes, you can choose at any time not to become a member.
STEP 4. Attend the 2 Baptism Classes
You will only need to attend the Baptism Class if you have never been baptized by full immersion.
STEP 5. Membership Interview
You will be contacted by an elder/leader to schedule a time to conduct your membership interview.
STEP 6. Attend the Right Hand of Fellowship Service
This is a special service where we worship the Lord through song, hold baptisms, and extend the right hand of fellowship to you as a new member.
