our purpose

As the college ministry of Placerita Bible Church,  A L I V E  exists to help college-age students find their identity in Christ alone through biblical training and life-on-life discipleship.  Our goals are two-fold.

To Edify

1) As Christians we want to work to encourage, serve, edify and stir one another towards Christ-likeness. We want to be mature in Christ and help one another mature towards Christ-likeness. Through out the New Testament we see that the purpose of gathering together is to "build" one another up. As the Apostle Paul exerted all his energy towards this end, we to will be committed to this as well.

To Evangelize

2) We want to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When Christ ascended into heaven he left us with a mission to make disciples. Every Christian is personally responsible to obey the Lord in this. We want to be mission-minded people who are compassionate and love those who need to hear the greatest story ever told. That God came down to rescue sinners for His glory.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We meet together Sunday evenings at 5pm for a time of worship as we sing together, look at God's Word, fellowship, and participate in a variety of service activities, as well as evangelism in our community. We also enjoy lunch together every first Sunday of the month. Please join us!

You will want to make sure to stay in touch with us as well, because our calendar is packed with a wide range of events, from a Retreat to Beach Days, Movie Nights, Dodger games, etc. Don't miss out!
