We are ready to come alongside you with encouragement and help from the Bible regardless of your situation.  Some of the most common issues we address relate to marriage; parenting; purity (sexual sin); health; anger; work; fear/anxiety; past; loneliness; conflict; and grief.

sessions

All of our biblical counselors receive rigorous training in biblical counseling.  Our counselors will care for you and treat you with respect.  We will carefully listen to your situation and challenges so we can offer appropriate and practical help.  It is our desire to patiently walk with you as we help apply God's truth to your heart and what you are facing

We offer biblical counseling free of charge, although you may need to purchase your own books and materials.  Counseling sessions typically last one hour and are conducted once per week.  The day and time will vary depending on the counselor.  A typical counseling process requires a commitment of 8-12 weeks.  This could be shorter or longer depending on the situation and progress in counseling.  Take notes during the sessions and be prepared to complete homework assigned by your counselor.

You may meet with a counselor and an observer who is learning and growing in the understanding of biblical counseling.  We respect your privacy.  Everything discussed in counseling or captured on your application will be held in the strictest confidence, except where there is a clear biblical requirement for us to help you by involving others.

Our elders request that you attend the Sunday worship service at PBC weekly while you are receiving council, as this is an important part of the counseling process.
